Designed by architect Richard Morris Hunt and built in the early 1890s, Belcourt of Newport is a living pastiche of history. From the palace of versailles in France to the freemasons of America, the surreal mansion draws on a tradition of splendor.

In today's Belcourt, historic ornateness and cutting-edge innovation mingle. The glamour of Newport's Gilded Age is preserved through thoughtful, precise restorations enabled by modern technology.

A large-scale restoration project is underway - and Belcourt is being revived to its original glory. Click here for a closer look at the process.
